Is He Truly Worth It To You?

Worth. As I was pondering and praying over this blog post, God reminded me of the things I prioritize too much and the ones I don't prioritize enough. How much time and effort you put into something shows how much worth and value that thing has to you. For instance, some of you may put too much effort and dwell too much on your appearance, while others may not take care of their bodies, hygiene, and looks enough. Maybe, you dwell on your financial state an unhealthy amount of the day, or maybe you are the opposite and don't consider your finances often enough. Are you spending more time with your kids, or are you looking at your phone 80 to 90 percent of the time you are with them? Think about your closest friends, or think of your marriage. Are you spending intentional, quality time with your friend or spouse? Do you do things for them simply because you love them? Are you expecting something in return for your kind actions? When someone mentions their likes and dislikes, do you take those things into consideration as you make, buy, or do something for them? These are all signs of the value you place upon these things and these people.
Now, I'm sure you all know where I'm going with this. Here's the focus point for you to think on this weekend and the rest of this month.
How much value does God have to you? Does your life show that He is worth your time and efforts, or are you putting Him lower on the priority list than other things and people?
Take some time to read over John 15:15, Revelation 3:20-21, and John 3:16. God is pursuing you. The Creator of the world calls you His masterpiece. When you mess up, He always forgives you and still loves you. You are worth it to Him. Always. Is He worth it to you?
