Trusting God Through The Big Changes

Updated: Aug 3

Change happens. I am fine with that, but that doesn't necessarily mean I never get overwhelmed or stressed when big changes happen. If we knew what would happen next, we wouldn't usually be so stressed when these changes occur, right? Wrong. Knowing what will happen next brings a whole truck load full of more stressors because then we begin to fumble around as we try to figure out how to handle what's to come.. because we are humans, we are not the best at doing things that only a good God can do well. Fortunately, we do not have to know our future because God carries that weight for us. All we have to do is have a relationship with Him.

Being a Christian brings an incredible amount of peace as we go through these changes. It isn't easy whether we are Christians or not, but the difference is that we have The One who knows what will happen next and how we should go about our days in the midst of the change. How amazing is that! If you are going through an overwhelming change in your life right now, please know that God sees you, He is with you, and He always wants you to talk with Him, listen to Him, and seek Him in the middle of everything going on. When we distance ourselves from God, we can't hear or see Him as well anymore. When you can't hear or see Him well, there is no way you will be able to know what He wants you to do while you're going through this, and no one else knows what is best for you like God the Creator does. So read His Word, talk to Him often throughout each day, and obey Him if He tells you to do something. That is the very best thing you can do for yourself no matter what happens in your life.
